$245 - $280 USD hourly

• $245–$280 per hour

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Review how AI handles statistics and machine learning questions on your own schedule, and write the prompts and reference answers used to test it.

AI training is the human work behind artificial intelligence: experts read what a model produces, decide whether it is right, and write the feedback that makes the next version better. AI answers on statistics and machine learning can look convincing while using the wrong method or drawing the wrong conclusion, so the teams building these systems need applied scientists who can spot flawed analysis and explain what a sound approach looks like. This is part-time contract work done remotely on a flexible schedule.

What you'll do

• Judge AI-written answers on statistics and machine learning, flagging weak methods, statistical mistakes and shaky quantitative reasoning

• Write expert prompts, datasets and reference solutions that are used to evaluate models

• Run statistical analyses and experiments on complex data, and build, tune and validate machine learning models with Python, Pandas and scikit-learn

• Review the work of peers with structured feedback, and hand in reproducible code and well-organized reports on methods and findings

Why this is worth your time

• Earn $245–$280 an hour on statistics and machine learning evaluation tasks

• Work on AI systems that answer statistics, experimentation and machine learning questions

• Apply your statistics and machine learning judgment to model evaluation, experiment design and reference solutions

• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute

Who this is for

• Practical expertise in Python, including Pandas and scikit-learn

• Knowledge of applied statistics, experimental design and machine learning

• Hands-on experience developing, tuning and evaluating machine learning models in real-world settings

• Strong data modeling skills with both structured and unstructured data

• Clear written and spoken communication, including explaining your technical decisions

• Fluent in English

• Helpful background includes experience in technology, finance, or research organizations; open or cross-functional data science projects; or advanced academic or hands-on training in data science or applied mathematics.

• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; your judgment helps improve AI models.

Pay and details

• $245–$280 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor

• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
