Software Engineering Expert, AI Trainer (Remote, Part-time) — Sovrano AI via AI Gig Scout

Sovrano AI is hiring working software engineers for fully remote, project-based work checking how well AI coding agents handle real software engineering. Pay is $40–$125 USD an hour, at least 10 hours a week, as an independent contractor. Open to engineers in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada or Australia.You will build realistic tasks out of problems from your own engineering work, along with the material needed to solve them; give those tasks to frontier AI models and judge the results to professional standards; weigh paired model answers and explain which holds up; write grading rubrics and explain your reasoning in writing; and review and improve tasks written by other engineers.

Requirements: based in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada or Australia; Bachelor's degree or higher (completed or in progress); 2+ years of professional software engineering experience preferred; available at least 10 hours per week; a PayPal account for payment; willing to work without LLM assistance where the project requires it; one email address for signup, assessment and payment. Preferred: experience across more than one language or stack, and having used Claude or ChatGPT in professional work.
