Go Engineer (Remote, Contract, AI training) — SME Careers via AI Gig Scout

SME Careers, an AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, is building a pool of Go Engineers for hourly, fully remote AI data training work at $60/hr. Open to contributors in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, the United States, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.

You will review AI-generated Go code and explanations or write your own; evaluate reasoning quality and step-by-step problem-solving; assess solutions for correctness, readability and backend-style best practices; identify errors in concurrency, error handling or conceptual understanding; fact-check information; write high-quality explanations and model solutions in idiomatic Go; and rate and compare multiple AI responses on correctness and reasoning quality.

Requirements: 1–2+ years of professional Go, ideally on backend services, APIs or systems work; strong grasp of Go idioms (clear error handling, composition over inheritance, simple readable interfaces); hands-on experience building and maintaining backend-style Go applications in production; ability to evaluate concurrency patterns, error propagation and API design; significant experience using LLMs or AI coding assistants with a disciplined approach to validating their output; excellent English writing (C1 minimum); Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field. Prior AI data training, code review at scale or evaluation of AI-generated technical content is strongly preferred. Highly preferred: hands-on Gin, gRPC or Echo in real projects. Also preferred: merged PRs in Go open-source projects, competitive programming, cloud-native development and Go performance profiling.
